China Mobile International (CMI), the world’s largest mobile communications provider based on client base, has opened a new data center in Frankfurt RheinMain. According to information provided by the company, the data center will serve as an important addition to CMI’s global network and as an internet data center (IDC) for the company’s international customers. The new center in Mörfelden-Walldorf is the first of its kind for CMI on the European continent and the first Chinese-owned data center in Frankfurt RheinMain.
