BaryTech, a multinational IT service provider, will now be serving the German and European markets from Frankfurt RheinMain. The company supports its customers from the financial sector in setting up a suitable IT infrastructure, rollout, procurement of hardware and software and, as a support service provider, ensures smooth operation in the background.
The move was supported by FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region (FRM GmbH).
Mike Josef, Lord Mayor of the City of Frankfurt am Main and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of FRM GmbH: "BaryTech's decision to open a sales office in Frankfurt shows once again that Frankfurt RheinMain is an extremely attractive location for international IT companies. Our region offers not only the best infrastructure, but also direct access to one of the most important financial centres in Europe. Frankfurt is no longer just a centre of attraction for banks and financial service providers - legal and management consultancies, as well as specialised IT service providers such as BaryTech, also find an excellent environment here. The fact that a company with roots in India and an international focus has chosen Frankfurt as the location for its European expansion confirms the international importance of our city and our region".
BaryTech, a company of Indian origin, was founded in Berlin in 2021 and has an annual turnover of 5 million euros worldwide. The IT service provider currently employs 500 people in its offices in Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Romania, India and Bangladesh.
In 2025, Barytech expanded to Frankfurt and set up a sales office. The new office will initially employ 10 people.
Prashant Chauhan, Founder and CEO of BaryTech: "Our Frankfurt office plays an important role in our European business. Frankfurt is one of Europe's financial centres, home to many financial institutions and companies that rely on secure, high-performance IT solutions. And we specialise in IT infrastructure for banks, cyber security and compliance-related software solutions for the financial sector".
According to BaryTech, the Frankfurt office underlines the company's commitment to supporting digital transformation in the region, strengthening collaboration with local companies and contributing to the economic ecosystem.
"Indians living in Frankfurt RheinMain form the largest Asian community in the entire region. There are currently more than 20,000 of them who have found a temporary or permanent home here. More than 140 Indian companies have discovered Frankfurt RheinMain - and are taking advantage of the opportunities to operate successfully, grow and position themselves globally," says Eric Menges, President & CEO of FRM GmbH.
FRM GmbH has been in contact with BaryTech since 2024 and has acted as a point of contact for the company at every stage of the relocation process, providing information on the local market, establishing contacts with appropriate networks and advising on work and residence permits.
