The opening of the Frankfurt office is due, in part, to Brexit and allows the internationally active law firm to provide its German clients with comprehensive consultancy from a single source. Rimôn Falkenfort was supported in its investment by FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region (FRM GmbH) in cooperation with the Economic Development Board of the City of Frankfurt.
Peter Feldmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region and Lord Mayor of the City of Frankfurt says: "The settlement of Rimôn Falkenfort is further proof of the attractiveness of Frankfurt RheinMain as an international business location. Our region is already the number one German business location for American companies: around 20,000 U.S. citizens live and work here, and the region is home to more than 1,000 branches of American companies. The opening of the office also underscores the importance of Frankfurt as a financial center and its strategic significance for the EU."
Rimôn Falkenfort is a German partnership and an integral component within the U.S. law firm Rimôn. It was founded in 2008 as a full-service law firm with the goal of breaking with traditional structures. Rimôn relies on modern technology that enables its lawyers to stay connected with each other and with their clients around the globe.
Rimôn Falkenfort, in turn, is a separate brand under the Rimôn umbrella. According to its own statement, it combines the expertise and flexibility of a local partner with the strength and reach of a major international law firm. Rimôn Falkenfort adapts Rimôn's model for the German market, consistently capitalizes on its use of technology and offers clients and lawyers alternatives to the time-based business model of large, traditional law firms. Clients have access to a top-of-its-class international network at 40 locations on five continents. The firm has won multiple awards for its innovative approach and is one of the fastest growing international law firms in the world, with revenue growth of more than 50 percent in 2020.
Michael Moradzadeh, CEO and Co-Founder of Rimôn explains: "Our goal is to constantly develop and improve the law firm of tomorrow. The German team's creativity has helped us achieve the next important step in the German market, which is crucial for us."
"We are very pleased to have succeeded in supporting Rimôn Falkenfort in establishing itself in Frankfurt am Main. For the firm, the Frankfurt location is a ‘must’ as a starting point - as the most important financial center in the European Union and as a hub for the entire EU. As our work has continued intensively despite the changed conditions of the past months, the firm received at all times the support it needed to start successfully in our region. With Rimôn’s investment, Frankfurt RheinMain is further expanding its role as a leading European location for U.S. companies," adds Eric Menges, Managing Director of FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region.
