The company was advised on the expansion by FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region (FRM GmbH) in collaboration with the Frankfurt Economic Development Council.

„It is great to see that yet another international company has settled in Frankfurt RheinMain, demonstrating that our region continues to be perceived as a competitive and innovative location, even in challenging times,” says Eric Menges, CEO of FRM GmbH. “Highly innovative companies from the automation industry find the perfect conditions here for a successful start. The region’s countless colleges and universities train up a highly specialized workforce, and research and the economy are closely linked in Frankfurt RheinMain. This creates a climate of creativity and innovation that boosts the economy and makes our region attractive for international companies.”

Genesis Robotics & Motion Technologies develops and produces direct drive motors for the robotics and automation industries. The company was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. Further locations of Genesis Robotics can be found in the US and Japan.

Matteo Stagni, General Manager of Genesis Europe: “This location offers Genesis the perfect opportunity to support the rapid growth of our European clients. From Frankfurt, we plan to expand our client base across the European continent.”

Genesis Robotics' core products include the proprietary LiveDrive® direct drive motors and novel gear drives. The motors were developed for robots and precision machines used in the food, packaging, pharmaceutical and electronics industries. According to Genesis Robotics, the unique feature of LiveDrive® motors is the elimination of gearboxes, belts and lubrication. This in turn provides higher performance at lower overall operating costs.

As part of its global expansion plans, Genesis Robotics chose Frankfurt for its European office. From here, the company will support customers throughout the whole of Europe. Frankfurt offers Genesis the best conditions to serve the highly innovative and rapidly growing European market.
