Marlabs comes to Frankfurt RheinMain -

The international business community in Frankfurt RheinMain continues to grow. Marlabs, an American company with Indian roots, is commencing operations in Darmstadt.

The move was supported by Frankfurt RheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region (FRM GmbH) in close coordination with the Economic Promotion Council of the City of Darmstadt.

Jochen Partsch, Lord Mayor of the City of Science Darmstadt, stated, “In economically challenging times, it is a positive signal when a leading company for digital solutions settles in Darmstadt. It shows once again that as a region Frankfurt RheinMain is a truly competitive location internationally. It is also proof that membership in FRM GmbH is the right strategy for the city of Darmstadt to be perceived internationally as a business location. This success can be attributed to the close and trusting cooperation between our team in the Economic Development Council and the location experts at FRM GmbH.”

Marlabs is a leading company for digital solutions and supports companies in the digital transformation of their processes. Founded 26 years ago, Marlabs provides innovative and flexible digital technology solutions to its customers across all industries. Headquartered in New Jersey, the company has offices in India, Canada, Brazil and, most recently, Darmstadt, Germany. The company currently employs more than 3,000 people worldwide.

The expansion to Germany is part of the company’s strategic decision to establish a base in Europe. Arjun Ahlawat, SVP and Global Business Head for Life-Sciences and Automation Advisory at Marlabs, shared his thoughts, “We want to be a digital IT partner for our global customers in the region. Our customers include some of the largest life science companies in the world, which are headquartered in the Frankfurt RheinMain Region. Germany is Europe's leading pharmaceutical and healthcare market in terms of volume and presence of manufacturers and vendors.”

Announcing its expansion plans into the German market, Marlabs announced, that it is establishing and expanding its sales and marketing office in Darmstadt, Germany. This goes hand in hand with the company’s increased focus in the life sciences industry. The aim is to strengthen the existing life sciences customer portfolio and establish a trusted brand with new customers in the region. Marlabs says its IT solutions aim to help global life sciences companies accelerate clinical trials, research, and development, and shorten drug development and introduce collaborative digital business models.

“The establishment of Marlabs shows very clearly once again that Frankfurt RheinMain is one of the locations where global companies prefer to set up their base. Thanks to its central location and an excellently developed infrastructure, our region offers these companies perfect conditions to work closely with their partners and serve customers worldwide,” noted Eric Menges, President & CEO, FRM GmbH.

FRM GmbH supported Marlabs Innovations GmbH in its first steps in Frankfurt RheinMain. The India team of the regional location marketing established contacts with relevant networks such as the House of Pharma and provided the industry and location information requested by the company.
